Movie studio DreamWorks has announced that Eddie Murphy will star opposite Beyoncé Knowles and Jamie Foxx in 'Dreamgirls'.
The film is an adaptation of the Tony Award-winning musical of the same name and follows an all-girl trio called The Dreamettes.
The Dreamettes sing backing vocals for superstar James 'Thunder' Early (Murphy) before embarking on their own career as The Dreams.
'Kinsey' helmer Bill Condon is in the director's chair.
