Destiny's Child have announced that they are to split at the end of their current tour.
MTV News reports that Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland made the announcement during the trio's show in Barcelona on Saturday night.
In a statement released exclusively to MTV News yesterday, the group said: "After a lot of discussion and some deep soul searching, we realised that our current tour has given us the opportunity to leave Destiny's Child on a high note, united in our friendship and filled with an overwhelming gratitude for our music, our fans, and each other."
The statement continued: "After all these wonderful years working together, we realised that now is the time to pursue our personal goals and solo efforts in earnest."
The statement said that the trio - Rowland, Beyoncé Knowles and Michelle Williams - would "always love each other as friends and sisters" and thanked fans for their love and support.
The group's US tour begins on 9 July in St Louis and their final date will be in Vancouver, Canada on 10 September.
