The Roisín Dubh Trust announced today that a special Phil Lynott tribute concert will be held in the Point Theatre on 20 August, to coincide with the unveiling of a statue in the singer's memory in Dublin.
'The Boy is Back in Town' concert at Dublin's Point Theatre will see music stars Gary Moore, Eric Bell, Brian Downey, Scott Gorham, Brian Robertson, Brush Shiels, Wheatus and Jack L come together to honour the memory of Lynott.
Also confirmed in the concert line-up are Biffy Clyro, Skye, Nutoni, Johnny Fean, Danielle Pfiffner, Jason Swindle and Alaska Lyle.
Speaking about the forthcoming concert, Gary Moore said: "I'm taking part in the concert, out of my deep respect for Philip."
The unveiling of the Phil Lynott tribute statue will take place on 19 August on Grafton Street.
No information on ticket sales has been announced yet.
