Donald Faison, who plays Dr Chris 'Turkelton' Turk in 'Scrubs', is to star in a new comedy movie called 'Homie Spumoni'.
The Hollywood Reporter says the film tells the story of Renato (Faison), who has been raised an Italian-American and is unaware that he is an African-American.
When his birth parents re-enter his life, he returns to their home, but learns some valuable life lessons.
The film has been co-written and will be directed by Mike Cerrone, who wrote 'Me, Myself & Irene'.
The cast of 'Homie Spumoni' also includes 'Sopranos' star Jamie-Lynn DiScala and 'N Sync singer-turned-actor Joey Fatone.
