There has been a bomb scare at the 'Big Brother' house after a suspicious package was sent there.
Army bomb disposal units were called to the house to investigate the situation after 'Big Brother' staff alerted them to the fact that the package was sent to the television studios.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police confirmed that a specialist team was sent to the house to investigate the matter.
"The package was X-rayed but it was found not to be suspicious," the spokesperson said.
According to reports, one of the housemates has also been receiving threatening hate mail.
A source claimed: "They have been very concerned about the post they have been receiving for one of the people from a particular group."
The 'Big Brother' housemates were not made aware of the bomb scare.
