'Emmerdale' is set to welcome a new member of the Dingle family, when Delilah Dingle pays a visit in July.
Actress Hayley Tamaddon is set to play the role of Delilah, who will turn up on her cousin Marlon's doorstep in her wedding dress, after ditching her fiancé at the altar.
Tamaddon said: "I'm really excited to be playing Delilah. She is an ambitious
and impulsive character and I can't wait to see what she will be getting up to."
Emmerdale boss Kath Beedles said: "Delilah is no shrinking violet and has a habit of engaging her mouth before her brain"
Tamaddon has previously appeared in television dramas 'The Royal' and 'Where The Heart Is'.
