'The Shield' star Michael Chiklis has been cast opposite Lucy Liu in the new horror thriller 'Rise'.
Variety reports that Chiklis will play a police officer in the film, which tells the story of a reporter (Liu) who wakes up in a morgue but discovers she is no longer alive.
Liu's character then swears revenge on the vampires who have put her there.
Chiklis will next be seen on Irish cinema screens in the adaptation of the Marvel comic 'Fantastic Four'; it opens on 22 July.
