Sheryl Crow is set to release her as-yet-untitled new album on 27 September.
Billboard reports that the album will be preceded by the single 'Good is Good' in August.
According to Crow's official website the album will feature 10 tracks.
Crow told Billboard in December she was planning to release two albums, a covers record and one of original material, in 2005, but given the new album's September release date that now appears unlikely.
The singer has recorded cover versions for three upcoming tribute albums: 'For Free' for a Joni Mitchell tribute, 'I Need Your Love So Bad' for a BB King tribute and 'To Love Somebody' for an album of Bee Gees covers.
