Irish actor Jonathan Rhys-Meyers is set to join Tom Cruise in the third film in the 'Mission: Impossible' series.
Production Weekly reports that filming is set to begin on 18 July in Caserta, Italy.
In other 'Mission: Impossible 3' news, the Hollywood Reporter says that 'Boston Public' star Michelle Monaghan has joined the cast of the film, playing the love interest of Tom Cruise's character, Ethan Hunt.
Monaghan will next be seen on Irish cinema screens in the new Brad Pitt-Angelina Jolie film 'Mr and Mrs Smith'; it opens on 10 June.
