Oscar-winning actress Renee Zellweger has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
At the unveiling ceremony yesterday the 36-year-old actress said that she had dreamed of getting a star on the famous pavement since her first visit to Hollywood in 1988.
“I used two rolls of film on just these stars alone, and I was so excited to be here, and I had my fingers crossed really tightly that one day I could participate in some small way in this medium that I love so much,” she said.
"I never ever imagined a day like this or that I would be invited to be part of this legacy," Zellweger said. "The reality of this just hit me a few seconds ago and I am dumbfounded."
Zellweger, whose film credits include 'Cold Mountain', 'Bridget Jones' and 'Chicago', recently married country singer Kenny Chesney.
