Actor Roger Bart, who plays creepy villain George Williams in 'Desperate Housewives', will join the show full-time in the next series.
Pharmacist George plays a key role in the season finale, which will be shown on RTÉ Two next week.
Actor Bart will also appear in the upcoming big screen version of 'The Producers', reprising his stage role as Carmen Ghia.
He is also the star of a new independent movie called 'I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With'.
