Bassist Frankie Poullain has left rockers The Darkness.
A posting on the band's website says: "Remaining members have cited musical differences as the reason for his departure."
The statement adds that a replacement will be announced in the coming months.
The Darkness are currently working on their second album with Queen producer Roy Thomas Baker.
