Former 'Brookside' star Jennifer Ellison is to play the lead role in a new horror film called 'The Cottage'.
The 21-year-old will appear opposite 'Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels' star Dexter Fletcher in the film, details of which were announced at the Cannes Film Festival.
Ellison made her Hollywood debut last year in 'The Phantom of the Opera'.
'The Cottage' is to begin shooting later this year, with Northern Ireland a likely location.
