Hugh Grant and 'About a Boy' director Paul Weitz are to work together again on a new film called 'American Dreamz'.
Variety reports that Mandy Moore is in talks to join the cast of the social satire, as are Dennis Quaid and Chris Klein, who previously worked with Weitz on 'In Good Company' and the 'American Pie' movies respectively.
The film follows several characters from the worlds of politics and entertainment, with Grant playing a disaffected TV personality and Quaid in talks about playing a US president going through a nervous breakdown.
Speaking about 'American Dreamz', Weitz said: "The movie examines the role of dreams and ambitions in American culture. It's about what's wrong with America and how close it is to what's right with America."
