George Clooney is set to star in a new legal thriller called Michael Clayton.
Variety reports that Clooney will play an elite New York attorney who is nicknamed 'The Janitor' because of his ability to clean up the problems of his high-profile clients.
The film takes place over the four worst days of his career.
'The Bourne Supremacy' screenwriter Tony Gilroy will make his directorial debut on the film.
Clooney will act as one of the producers of the movie through his company, Section Eight.
Principal photography on the film is due to begin in January in New York.
