Rod Stewart has been forced to cancel a concert, which was scheduled to take place tonight, due to illness.
The singer is suffering from a throat infection and has been ordered by doctors to rest until his next show, which is due to take place on Wednesday.
A spokesperson for the singer said: "Rod Stewart has been forced to postpone his first London engagement at Earls Court tonight because of a severe viral throat infection."
He was forced to call off two shows in 2002, after suffering from a similar throat infection.
Stewart had throat surgery to remove cancerous growths in 2000. Despite fears that he would never sing again, he recovered well after the operation and began performing concerts again.
