Clive Owen is to star in 'Children of Men', 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban' director Alfonso Cuarón's adaptation of the PD James novel.
Variety reports that the film is set in a future society where people are no longer able to have children.
When the first woman becomes pregnant in more than 20 years, Owen's character is assigned to protect her.
Owen will next be seen on Irish cinema screens in 'Sin City' in June.
