A new documentary focussing on the groundbreaking American punk band The Minutemen is to be screened in Dublin next month.
'We Jam Econo - The Story of The Minutemen' will be screened in the Temple Bar Music Centre on Sunday 22 May at 8.30pm.
The film features live performances and interviews with, among others, Minutemen founder Mike Watt, bandmate George Hurley, Flea, Henry Rollins, Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore, Jello Biafra, J Mascis, Fugazi's Ian MacKaye and Black Flag's Greg Ginn.
Tickets for the screening, priced €9, are on sale now from Dublin outlets Road Records, City Discs and Red Ink Books.
Watt will also play a gig with his new band, The Secondmen, in Whelans of Dublin on Thursday 12 May, with tickets available from the above mentioned outlets.
