George Lucas, creator of 'Star Wars', is to guest star as himself in an episode of 'The OC'.
Lucas will star in one episode of the show, in which he expresses an interest in a graphic design novel that character Seth (Adam Brody) has written, leaving Seth to chose between dinner with Lucas or a prom date with Summer (Rachel Bilson).
The 'Star Wars' creator will not be the first well-known personality to pay a visit to Adam Brody's character Seth in the programme. Recently his favourite band Death Cab for Cutie played on 'The OC'.
The Lucas episode is due to be screened in the US on 12 May, ahead of the cinema opening of the 'Star Wars: Episode III - Return of the Sith' on 19 May.
It was recently announced that 'The OC' would run for a third season.
