'Desperate Housewives' actor Jesse Metcalfe is to make his feature film debut in a movie provisionally titled 'John Tucker'.
Metcalfe, who plays gardener John Rowland in the hit series 'Desperate Housewives', will play another character with a roving eye in the upcoming film.
Set to take on the title role, he will play a cheating heartthrob who is set up by three ex-girlfriends seeking revenge. When a new girl arrives in town the three decide to push them together so that she can later dump him and break his heart.
The film, which will be directed by Betty Thomas, is due to go into production in New Orleans this summer.
