A former security guard at Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch has given evidence on the residence's log books.
The Arvizo family claims the singer held them at the ranch to get them to refute a documentary in which he admits letting children sleep in his bed.
But one of the logs shows the entire family left the ranch and returned several hours later.
Janet Arvizo, the mother of Michael Jackson's accuser Gavin Arvizo, told the court that she took the family for an unnecessary trip to an orthodontist in an attempt to escape.
The former security guard Brian Barron has testified that Gavin Arvizo was for a time not allowed to leave the property.
Mr Jackson, who is accused of molesting Gavin Arvizo in 2003, denies all of the 10 charges against him.
Trial Judge Rodney Melville yesterday refused to allow prosecutors to call a domestic abuse expert to explain away key discrepancies in Janet Arvizo's testimony, which ended this week.
Prosecutors had said that because the woman had suffered abuse at the hands of her ex-husband, Mr Jackson was able exploit her vulnerabilities.
