The judge in the Michael Jackson trial has said that he will stop proceedings if the singer's lawyer and the mother of the boy accusing him of sexual abuse don't stop arguing.

Judge Rodney Melville reprimanded the star's lawyer, Thomas Mesereau, and the witness, Janet Arvizo, during a number of heated arguments.

Thomas Mesereau accused the witness of being a "bad actress" while Janet Arvizo said Mr Jackson's Neverland ranch is all about "pornography, booze and sex with boys".
