A new bassist has joined Snow Patrol following the departure of Mark McLelland last month.
Paul Wilson, formerly of Glasgow band Terra Diablo, is the new recruit.
A multi-instrumentalist, his first gig with Snow Patrol will be in Dingle tonight, 1 April, where the band have been working on their new album.
Announcing Wilson's appointment on the band's website, singer Gary Lightbody described him as "a magnificent addition to the band" who has "already been heavily involved in the new songs".
Keyboardist Tom Simpson, who has played with Snow Patrol over the past seven years, has now also joined the band full time.
