Corgan has name and date for album

Former Smashing Pumpkins and Zwan frontman Billy Corgan has announced the name and release date of his debut solo album.

Billboard reports that 'THEFUTUREEMBRACE' will be released on 21 June.

The 11-track album includes a guest appearance by The Cure's Robert Smith on a cover of The Bee Gees' 'To Love Somebody'.

Commenting on the album, Corgan said: "I tried to sum up all my feelings about my life and the world around me in the most beautiful ways I could dream up. It is easy to be negative, and much harder to find that silver lining behind the clouds of modern society."
