Mike Watt, the co-founder of seminal US hardcore band The Minutemen and current bassist with Iggy and the Stooges, is to play Dublin in May.
Watt, who recently released his third solo album, 'The Secondman's Middle Stand', will play Whelans of Wexford Street on Thursday 12 May.
Tickets, priced €14, will be on sale from Dublin outlets Road Records, the Sound Cellar and City Discs.
In a career spanning over four decades, Watt also founded the acclaimed 1980s and 1990s trio fIREHOSE and has also played with the likes of J Mascis, Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore and Steve Shelley and Porno for Pyros.
