It has emerged that TV presenter Gail Porter took an overdose following the collapse of her marriage.
The former kids TV personality reportedly admitted herself to a London hospital and had her stomach pumped. She had also cut her wrists.
The incident occurred last week after it emerged that her marriage to former Toploader guitarist Dan Hipgrave was over. The couple have a daughter, Honey.
Friends of the star claimed the suicide attempt was a 'cry for help’ after an emotional meeting with Hipgrave over the split.
After treatment she was referred to a psychiatrist and booked in for an appointment at renowned celebrity clinic The Priory.
