Singer Elton John was forced to cancel two US concerts over the weekend as a result of an illness.
The singer cancelled concerts in Bossier City, Louisiana and New Orleans, on Friday night and Saturday night respectively.
Although a message was posted on the singer's website in relation to the cancellation of the concerts, no details of John's illness were revealed.
In December 2004, John cancelled a number of concerts, citing a throat infection as the reason. He is set to perform his next date in the tour in Richmond, Virginnia tomorrow.
