'Will & Grace' star Debra Messing has joined the cast of 'Lucky You', the new film from '8 Mile' and 'LA Confidential' director Curtis Hanson.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the film is set in the world of high stakes professional poker and stars Eric Bana and Drew Barrymore.
It follows young player Huck Cheever (Bana) as he tries to win a world championship tournament in Las Vegas.
The script for the film has been written by Oscar-winning screenwriter Eric Roth ('Forrest Gump'), with additional writing by Hanson, who won the Oscar with Brian Helgeland for the script for 'LA Confidential'.
Messing's other film credits include 'Along Came Polly', 'The Mothman Prophecies' and the upcoming 'The Wedding Date'.
