A nude portrait of Sinéad O'Connor has sold for €15,000 at an auction in Dublin.
The portrait was due to hang in a Dublin nightclub, but was bought by the singer and then put up for sale.
The painting, titled 'Strange Days', was created by Dublin born artist and graphic designer Jim Fitzpatrick, best known for his iconic monochrome image of Che Guevara.
The portrait is signed by Fitzpatrick, who is a friend of O'Connor and her signature appears on the back.
