David and Victoria Beckham are celebrating the birth of their third son, whom they have named Cruz.
The baby, who weighed in at 7lbs 2oz, was born on Sunday morning in Spain, by caesarean section.
Speaking outside the Ruber International Hospital in Madrid, David Beckham said: "I have two beautiful sons already and now I have another beautiful son called Cruz".
"He's gorgeous, healthy and his mum is very good. So we're a very happy family," Beckham said.
The baby's name, Cruz, which means 'cross' in Spain where the couple are now living, is an old-fashioned Christian name usually given to girls.
The couple already have two sons, Brooklyn, who is now five-years-old, and two-year Romeo.
A statement released on behalf of David and Victoria Beckham yesterday said: "Mother and child are in perfect health".
