Will Smith and 'Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines' director Jonathan Mostow are set to make a new superhero drama called 'Tonight He Comes'.

The Hollywood Reporter says that the script for the film has a dark, adult tone and tells of a depressed superhero who smokes, drinks and engages in one-night stands.

But he finds a new lease of life when he is drawn towards a married woman.

In other Smith news, Billboard reports Snoop Dogg, Mary J Blige and Timbaland will appear on his new album, 'Lost and Found', due out on 29 March.

The album is Smith's first for three years and he says that it features "the most in-depth, revealing writing that I've done in my career".

Smith's new film, the romantic comedy 'Hitch', opens in Irish cinemas on 11 March.
