Actor Keanu Reeves has been awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The 40-year-old, who is best known for his role in the 'Matrix' movies, was honoured with a plaque on the legendary boulevard, the 2,277th to be presented.
With a career spanning over 20 years to date, Reeves has starred in over 40 films, including the recent 'Something's Gotta Give'.
The actor attended the unveiling ceremony with his mother Patricia, whom he thanked for encouraging and inspiring him to be an actor.
Reeves said: "I asked my mom if it was OK to be an actor, and she said, 'Whatever you want'."
