Drew Barrymore is to star opposite Eric Bana ('Troy', 'Hulk') in 'Get Lucky', the new film from '8 Mile' and 'LA Confidential' director Curtis Hanson.
Production Weekly says that the film is set in the world of professional poker and follows young player Huck Cheever (Bana) as he tries to win a world championship tournament.
The film is due to begin production in Las Vegas in March.
The script for the film has been written by Oscar-winning screenwriter Eric Roth ('Forrest Gump'), with additional writing by Hanson, who won the Oscar with Brian Helgeland for the script for 'LA Confidential'.
