Irish musicians and comedians are to unite this weekend for a special concert to raise money for the tsunami relief efforts of the Irish Red Cross.
The fundraising concert will take place this Saturday 8 January at the RDS Concert Hall, Ballsbridge, Dublin, with doors opening at 6pm.
Among those performing at the event will be Shane McGowan, David Kitt, Ronnie Drew, Kila, Liam O'Maonlaí & The Hothouse Flowers, Barney McKenna (The Dubliners), Roesy, Miriam Ingram and Dave's Radio.
The comedy line-up will feature Aprés Match, Joe Rooney and Karl Spain, with MC Dave McSavage.
A number of items, including a painting by Dublin artist Shane Sutton, will be auctioned during the concert.
Tickets for the event, priced at €30, can be purchased in advance through Ticketmaster, or bought on the door.
