'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' star Alyson Hannigan is joining Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ed O'Neill in a new comedy series called 'In the Game'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the sitcom follows an aspiring sports producer (Hewitt) who unwittingly becomes an on-air reporter on a sports show.
Hannigan is to play the central character's best friend with O'Neill, best known for playing Al Bundy in 'Married with Children', cast as the show's executive producer.
30-year-old Hannigan recently appeared in episodes of 'That '70s Show'.
