West End bow for Emmerdale actress

'Emmerdale' actress Verity Rushworth has made her West End debut in the musical 'Fame'.

The 19-year-old, who plays Donna Windsor in 'Emmerdale', joined the chorus line of 'Fame' for GMTV's 'Entertainment Today' programme, along with the TV show's presenter, Ben Shephard.

She had to learn a dance routine and then appeared onstage in front of over 1,000 people at London's Aldwych Theatre.

Rushworth's West End debut will be screened on 'Entertainment Today' on Friday 7 January from 8.35am on ITV 1.
