Hank Garland, the guitarist whose career included work with Elvis Presley, the Everly Brothers, Roy Orbison and Patsy Cline, has died.
Garland, who was 74, died in Florida of a staph (MRSA) infection.
In a career which began on radio shows aged 12, Walter 'Hank' Garland was one of Nashville's most renowned session musicians and played on Elvis' 'Little Sister' and 'Big Hunk of Love'.
Garland had spent his final years battling ill health, seeking royalties from record companies and discussing a possible movie about his life.
