Elvis Presley may be in line for the top spot when the UK singles charts celebrates its 1000th number one in the New Year.
Record company Sony BMG are set to re-release all of Elvis's 18 UK number one singles to mark the anniversary of his birth.
The Elvis tracks are due to be re-released over 17 consecutive weeks from 3 January to 25 April, beginning with 'All Shook Up' and ending with 'A Little Less Conversation'.
Band Aid 20 secured the 997th UK number one with 'Do They Know It's Christmas?' and have remained at the top spot for four weeks.
The first of the Elvis singles to be re-released, 'All Shook Up', will not be eligible to officially claim the number one spot because it is being released in a special collector's box. For this reason the record company have decided to release 'Jailhouse Rock' on the same day.
