The Second Age Theatre Company is to present an adaptation of Shakespeare's 'King Lear' in the SFX Theatre in Dublin in the New Year.
Alan Stanford will direct the new production, which is set in pre-revolutionary Tsarist Russia.
He will also star as King Lear, opposite Eithne Woodcock, who will play Lear's once-favoured daughter Cordelia.
The play will run from 17 January to 11 February, with previews taking place on Thursday 13 and Friday 14 January.
Performances will take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30pm.
