Actor and director Mel Gibson is reportedly set to pay in the region of €11.5m for an island in Fiji.
Gibson is reported to buying the 5,400 acre Isle of Mago in Fiji from a Japanese hotel company.
His movie 'The Passion of the Christ', released earlier this year, is currently projected to make about €405m.
Gibson follows in the footsteps of fellow Hollywood actor Johnny Depp, who bought his own island in the Bahamas this year.
