Nicole Kidman, who had been set to play ditzy secretary Ulla in the remake of 'The Producers', will now not star in the movie.
Variety reports that Kidman's representatives said the Oscar winner would not have enough time to rehearse the film's song and dance routines before going to Australia, where she is to star in 'Eucalyptus' opposite Russell Crowe and Geoffrey Rush.
Kidman is currently shooting 'Bewitched'.
Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane will reprise their Broadway roles in the new version of 'The Producers', which is due to begin shooting in February.
