'Emmerdale' actress Lucy Pargeter, who plays Chastity Dingle, has announced that she is pregnant with her first child.
The 27-year-old actress and her partner Rudi Coleano, were due to get married in the summer of 2005, but have decided to postpone their wedding until after the birth of their baby.
Pargeter said: "We are both so excited and have always planned a big family.
I am three months pregnant and the baby is due in June."
The actress is planning on taking three months maternity leave from the soap from June onwards.
A spokesperson for 'Emmerdale' said: "It is fantastic news and we are all delighted for Lucy and Rudi."
