Pixar Animation's 'The Incredibles' has topped the nominations list for the 32nd annual Annie Awards, the animation world's equivalent of the Academy Awards.
'The Incredibles' picked up 16 nominations, beating DreamWorks' 'Shrek 2' and 'Shark Tale', which got seven nominations each.
The nominations for the Best Animated Feature Award are: 'The Incredibles', 'Shrek 2', DreamWorks/Go Fish Pictures' 'Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence' and Nickelodeon Movies/Paramount Pictures' 'The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie'.
'Shrek 2', 'Shark Tale' and 'The Incredibles' were also nominated in the Writing in an Animated Feature Production category.
Antonio Banderas and Samuel L Jackson were both nominated in the Voice Acting category for their roles in 'Shrek 2' and 'The Incredibles'.
The awards ceremony will take place on 30 January 2005.
