It is reported that Oscar winner Julia Roberts gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl, yesterday.
People magazine in the US says that the 37-year-old gave birth at around 3am (11am GMT) yesterday and that mother and babies are doing well.
Roberts was admitted to hospital last month with early contractions.
The magazine cites unnamed sources as saying that the babies' names are Phinnaeus Walter Moder and Hazel Patricia Moder. Roberts' husband is cameraman Danny Moder.
The actress will next be seen on Irish cinema screens in the Mike Nichols-directed drama 'Closer'; it opens in the New Year.
