French actress Julie Delpy has been linked with a starring role in director Ron Howard's adaptation of Dan Brown's bestseller 'The Da Vinci Code'.
The Boston Herald says that Delpy is in the running for the role of cryptologist Sophie Neveu, who helps Professor Robert Langdon (the role tipped to be played by Tom Hanks) find the Holy Grail.
In an interview with the Boston Herald, Delpy said that she was going to meet the makers of the film but also said: "You never know until there is a solid cast."
Delpy is currently completing work on the thriller 'The Legend of Lucy Keyes' in Massachusetts; she was last seen on Irish cinema screens in 'Before Sunset'.
