Who survivors in studio next month

The two surviving members of The Who, singer Roger Daltrey and guitarist Pete Townshend, have confirmed that they are going into the studio next month.

In an interview with Reuters, Daltrey said: "I'm just about to go into the studio again with Pete for the first time in 22 years."

"It's exciting. I think it's going to be very different. We are going to take a completely new approach to how we work in the studio and see what happens," he added.

In a posting on his website, Townshend said the working title for the project was 'Who2' and that it was possible a CD could be ready for release in the spring.
