Willie Nelson has confirmed that he will play a concert at Dublin's Point Theatre on Friday 1 April 2005.
The career of the American music legend has spanned more than four decades, making him a true cultural icon.
His breakthrough year was 1961 when three of his compositions - 'Hello Walls', 'Funny How Time Slips Away' and 'Crazy' - all hit the country & western charts.
Since then he, together with Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson, and Townes Van Zandt, has established the Outlaw Country movement, charted 12 Number One country albums, and recorded a series of star filled event albums.
Tickets for his fully seated Irish concert are priced at €45 and €55. They go on sale this Friday, 5 November, from usual outlets nationwide.
