The case against singer Brian McFadden, who had been summonsed for driving offences, has been adjourned until next April at a District Court in Dublin.

This is the second time the case has been adjourned.

The court was told that a garda witness had a hand injury.

Counsel for McFadden, Kieran Kelly, objected to the adjournment saying that his client had flown in from London for the case and is about to go on tour to Europe the US and Asia.

However Judge Bryan Smyth granted a peremptory adjournment. McFadden will appear in court again on Thursday 14 April 2005.
