1970s TV favourite 'Kojak' is returning to the small screen for a new series, with 'Pulp Fiction' star Ving Rhames in the title role.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the series will debut on the USA Network in March.
Rhames completed work on a 'Kojak' TV movie in August, and USA Network bosses were so pleased with the results that they signed the actor up for a full series as the detective.
The TV movie will now be broadcast as the first episode.
Rhames was most recently seen on Irish cinema screens in the remake of horror classic 'Dawn of the Dead'.
