Dido, Noel Gallagher, Robbie Williams and Damon Albarn are reported to be the latest acts to sign up to Band Aid III for its Christmas single release.
Coldplay, The Darkness, Travis and Keane have already confirmed that they are involved in re-recording the charity classic 'Do They Know Its Christmas?'.
Other possible contributors are reported to be Jamelia, Beverley Knight and Katie Melua.
Organiser Midge Ure is hoping to get the participating artists together in the next few weeks to record the single, with the proposed release currently planned for the beginning of December.
Bookmakers are listing the single as odds-on favourite to take the Christmas top spot.
